Rabbi Jason Miller launched his personal blog in October 2003 on the Blogger platform before Google acquired it. Over the years the blog has focused on current events with an emphasis on technology, politics, sports and pop culture all through a Jewish perspective. As of 2013 there have been over 800,000 page views.
Modern technology and the internet have affected the global Jewish community in many ways. This blog explores the innovations in technology that impact Jewish life, Jewish thought, and Jewish education. The Jewish Techs blog was launched on The Jewish Week (NY) website in March 2010 and has become a popular site for Jewish techies all over the world.
After the editor of the Huffington Post’s Religion vertical read Rabbi Jason Miller’s blog post about post-denominational Judaism, he asked if the Huffington Post could repost the piece. That was in October 2010. Since that blog post, Rabbi Jason has published dozens of articles on the Huffington Post.
